This recognition honors colleges and universities—and the standout programs they lead—that are making a meaningful impact through service, civic involvement, and community partnerships.
We invite applicants to highlight how the nominated institution’s program advances public purpose through innovative service and deep community collaboration—setting a standard for higher education’s role in societal progress.
This award acknowledges excellence across a wide range of service approaches, including but not limited to:
- Volunteer initiatives and direct service programs
- Fundraising efforts for community causes
- Advocacy and public education campaigns
- Peer mentorship and support networks
- Service-learning and experiential projects
- Civic participation and voter engagement
